Now taking submissions for May's POTM contest

Time to send your pictures in for the May contests! We will follow the same theme so everyone can participate -- any lake/region to include both freshwater and saltwater. It would be great to see a photo or two from everyone. You don't have to be great with your camera to enter; a nice action shot, great looking fish, or otherwise interesting photo can be a winner!

We will take entries until May 20. Please send them as attachments to pics@riftlakecichlids.com . It would be extremely helpful if you would include this information in your email:

1. Which contest you are entering.....DSLR or Point and Shoot
2. Your username
3. Name of species

We've had one person submit for the DSLR contest and that's it so far.

Could you provide a little feedback? Is it too busy a time of year to take fish pictures? Can't get a picture you like enough to enter? Just not interested?, etc... my feelings won't be hurt, so please let me know.

I don't want to keep pestering for entries if the interest in the contests isn't there.

Me too, Betty. I have been trying to get all of my flowers out. Finished now.
Sold 30 tanks and had to clean them.

Been busy getting wedding stuff ready, but I have one I'll submit to the DSLR by the deadline if I don't get a "better" one.
