Re: Some malawi shots.
Thanks Betty. We need some action in this forum again. Hopefully everybody will return and start posting again soon. I need a new project because it´s starting to be boring to take the same pics over and over
. Hope everything is alright with you?

Everything is good, but like you, it's mostly the same fish, doing the same things.
Do you still have your leleupis?

Lost two of them. They jumped out of the tank. I had to remove the top glass because of the heat in the apartment. I´ve had 82-86 F in the aparment for about six weeks now, so i have been strugeling to keep the tank water below 86 F.

My first female died almost a year ago and the new female just holdes the eggs for a week or so (5-10 days). This has happened a few times this year. She is still young so maybe they will get it right eventually.

I also like that the fish are all in good shape weight-wise. I see so many that are overweight.

Thanks Betty!
Yes, it´s easy to get overweight fish with most foods that are available in the fishshops. Especially pellets like nls. I feed my cichlids once per day and if they start to show any signs of becoming overweight i just starv them for a few days. I rather have fish that are healthy and with the right body shape then fish that are fast growing and overweight.
