I don't know about you guys but even with the side by side photos some of those shots look way too similar for me to think I would be 100% correct when venting . That's why I always start with 10 to 15 juvies and grow them out and let nature take its course so far I have never been without some of each sex.

I've tried the venting thing by looking at my known male and female fish whenever I have had to net them for whatever reason. I think I need a magnifying glass, only a few of them could I really see any thing meaningful.
I guess it takes pradctice. (and good eyesite)
