Welcome to the forum! Nice setup and a good choice of fish. This tank would look even better if you painted the back glass. Love the rock work.

Thanks for the comments so far! In that photo I have black posterboard taped to the back of the tank, it looks good in person, just doesn't show well in photo's. I was unable to locate the fish I wanted for this tank, so I borrowed some from my other tanks. When I find N. Buescheri and L. melegrise/stappersi , the pair of brevis will go back to their species tank, The 3 calvus will probably stay.

Nice setup!!! I agree with painting the back glass also. Good luck finding the other fishies, shouldn't be a problem to find especially if you buy from an online breeder Wink

and of course...

Welcome to RLC!!!! redneck

I was on a little road trip to a far away fish store and found these guys today, when I saw them I couldn't resist. Blue zambia ocellatus

Yeah, The store where I got them had the same sand, same ph, temp...etc.. so when I got them home all they had to do was warm up a little bit. They dove right in, digging and claiming shells. I was really hoping to find meleagris/stappersi on my little road trip, but I'm thrilled with these guys. When the time comes, I will prob set up another tank for meleagris, or maybe move my brevis over to the 55g and give the meleagris the 20g for a species tank
