ACA convention website is now live

I may have figured out how to get a few bags of fish home from ACA...
I dropped by Rare Dave's Thursday while I was in San Antonio and sort of hinted around, and he was agreeable to including a bag or two for me with
what he was bringing home...YAY! It will have to be something very special and unusual that I just can't live without, though....
He is bringing a lot of fish to the convention also.
I didn't buy any fish this time, (no new fish before ACA...that is my resolution), but it was great fun just browsing through the "Cichlid Candy Store"
that is Dave's Rare Aquarium Fish. And Dave is such a nice guy, too.

I'll have tanks in my room that you can hold the fish in until Sunday, I plan to have more tanks on hand than all of us will need better to be prepared...

I have some 5 gallon Sterilite plastic totes that I have used to transport fish and keep fry in. They are cheap, light weight, and stackable when empty.

I'll have several 10's, a 20h, 20l and a large tote just in case I find a large group or larger fish. My buddy from NC is bringing a couple small tanks and a large tote also.

If you'd like to set a tank or tanks up in your room with your new fishies I'd be more than happy to hook ya up. Of course I could keep them in my room but it's really cool to go back to your room and see the new fish at the end of the day. Nuthin like havin a tank in your hotel room

I'll also be bringing a dozen sponges and every air pump I can round up. If you've got any air pumps laying around and a little extra room in your suitcase throw em in.

I have an air pump and at least two heaters I can bring along with some plastic tubs. I'll probably still have to have something in the room, but I did rent two tanks from the Convention.

Hmmm... I do have an air pump or two and a couple of sponge filters I could bring.
A 10 gallon. I might like to borrow a 10 gallon tank for a while.

I'll have both of ya covered on sponges, air pumps and heaters will definitely come in handy.

I'll only set up a couple tanks, the rest will be set up as needed so there will be a pile of empty tanks in my room. As we acquire more fish we'll set the tanks up accordingly. That way if someone goes on a unexpected buying spree we can just swing by my room, grab the tanks we need and set em up. Both of you are welcome to any of the empty tanks/tubs piled up in my room. I don't really plan on buying many fish but my buddy Sam Adams might influence me into a shopping spree... Ya just never know

I suppose I should be glad I'm not going to the convention because I wouldn't have a way to bring fish home and I don't know if I could survive not being able to purchase any!!

Betty, if you come to the convention I'll not only ship any fish you get back home for ya but I'll pay the shipping too!!!

Mike, , what a nice guy you are! I still don't think I can make it though. You all will have to take lots of pictures for the rest of us, so we know what we missed.

I'll be posting pictures and updates during the convention via my phone.
