Is his color still good? Is there another male in the tank? The big tank has been taking most of your attention, so have you been able to keep up with your water changes on the ventralis' tank?

Super skinny? Was he skinny before he stopped eating? Maybe it's some sort of internal parasite? You haven't introduced anything new to the tank?

What ever it is I would do a 50% water change and put som salt in. Then the fish don´t need to use any of it´s energy to keep the saltbalance in it´s body. I would also increase the temperature in the tank. I hope it works out.

Take gallons divide by 3.79 multiply by 100, then divide that by ten and convert into cups Very Happy

100 liters = 26.42 US gallons

175 liters = 46.23 US gallons ---- Is your tank a 46 gallon? I can't remember.

1dl/100 liter dosage

1 dl = .42 cups

1.75 dl/175 liters

1.75 deciliters = 0.74 US cups

I'd say 3/4 cup of salt if the tank is 46 gallons? That seems like a lot; maybe my math is off. Is that right? Suspect

Derek, this will be good math practice for you. When you figure out the conversions, I would slowly add the salt over a few hours.
