Malawi crab.

Have anybody here a Malawi crab in there tanks? There are a couple of lfs stores here in Sweden that sells them and I wonder if they would work together with aggressiv mbuna.

Idk when the crab sheds its exoskeleton it will be vulnerable and could end up a meal.

He looks like he could do some serious harm with that claw! Shocked Really cool though. Let us know what you learn.

i think it would work fine cause he does live in malwai... so im sure you just give him a little cave and he will do fine if it works in the lake should work in tank now i think he might pick off some of the smaller mbuna and what not but im sure he can hold his own agasint fish

Make sure you don't have any tiny fish in there or they may go missing. After reading around, if your tank isn't covered they will find their way out "if" they can find something to climb on ( heaters/filter intakes).

I know that I constantly found my fiddler crabs hiding in my HOB filter.
