This is an offspring, but I was told they looked like hybrids on another forum. I did purchase the parents as M. greshakei and thought they looked like the species was supposed to.

Great shots Swede and Betty!!! They both look like greshakei to me. That was the first African Cichlid I got and absolutely loved em.

My femals where killed by my elongatus male, so he is alone at the moment. I´m going to breeder in Stockholm in februari, so hopefully i can buy some femals from him.

My M. greshakei is the only one able to pic algea near the outlet of the Aqua Clear 110. There´s a halogen light above it so there are loads of algea at that spot.
